Avril reveals personal struggle with fibroids
Avril revealed that she not only had one fibroid, but she had two and this could have impacted her ability to get pregnant

Avril and her partner welcomed their first baby a few months ago after choosing to keep her pregnancy a secret until she welcomed her son.
The mother of one is yet to share more details about her pregnancy journey and her partner has been one of the most guarded secrets.
She revealed that she does not want to speak about her private life and this does not mean that she is living a secretive life but protecting her dear ones.
Avril has also opened up on her struggle to conceive and according to her and the doctors, this could have been driven by the fact that she had fibroids.
Fibroids are abnormal growths that develop in or on a woman’s uterus. Sometimes these tumors become quite large and cause severe abdominal pain and heavy periods.
It is not clear what causes fibroids but they are known to occur in women of color (Africans, African Americans) have very high chances of developing fibroids.
In most instances, fibroids occur during pregnancy and they commonly appear in women of child bearing age.
They can be managed or treated depending on their size and most women have had to undergo surgery to have fibroids removed if they are interfering with their lives like causing abdominal pains and excessive bleeding
